FRIDAY: There's nothing like dinner with poets to remind you of how much toxic masculinity, misogyny, racism, classism, xenophobia, and lack of exercise can impact your mental/spiritual (and even physical) development. We need to do better ya'll.

SATURDAY: Even at a so-called "Pride" event, there is no such thing as a safe space. Homophobic men WILL find a way to ruin your night with their fragile masculinity. So a big round of fuck-yous to the dude broes who harassed me and my partner at the Red Bills game on Saturday. I feel terrible for all the women in your life, even the ones that are silently complicit during your doucheboy best.

SUNDAY: Freedom (of expression/to love/to exist) remains the most vital right on this earth, and the most beautiful continues to be existence as resistance. i.e. Newark Pride had me in all my feels.
